Mobi- und Info-VA gegen die G20-Africa-Partnership-Konferenz

Vom 12. bis 13. Juni – im Vorfeld des G20-Treffens im Juli in Hamburg – lädt Deutschland zur „G20-Afrika-Partnerschafts-Konferenz“ ins Schöneberger Gasometer in Berlin ein.
Wir fragen uns: Was für eine Partnerschaft soll das sein? Angesichts der Tausenden an Toten an Europas Grenzen zu Afrika. Angesichts der Vorhaben, die Grenzen weiter ins Innere Afrikas zu verlagern, Menschen verstärkt abzuschieben und «Fluchtursachen zu bekämpfen». Angesichts Kooperationen der deutschen Regierung mit Diktatoren wie in Eritrea und im Sudan. Angesichts von Freihandelsabkommen und anderen Masterplänen, die nur die Ausbeutung afrikanischer Länder zu Gunsten Europas weiter fortschreibt.
In den letzten Monaten wurden eine Reihe neuer Pläne geschlossen und Deals ausgehandelt, wie beispielsweise der sogenannte Marshall-Plan für Afrika. In der Veranstaltung wollen wir uns einen Überblick darüber verschaffen, was auf der sogenannten Africa-Partnership-Konferenz passieren wird und wer da anwesend ist. Wir wollen thematisieren, wie die sogenannte Partnerschaft in aktuellen Abkommen und Plänen tatsächlich aussieht. Und wir wollen über geplante Gegenproteste informieren.

Les 12 et 13 juin – en amont de la rencontre du G20 Hambourg – l’Allemagne invite à une „conférence G20 sur le partenariat africain“ dans le Gasometer de Schöneberg à Berlin.
Nous nous demandons : de quel genre de partenariat s’agit-il ? Au vu des milliers de morts aux frontières européennes en Afrique. Au vu des tendances visant à repousser les frontières à l’intérieur du continent africain, à expulser les gens encore plus massivement et à „combattre les causes de leur fuite“. Au vu des coopérations du gouvernement allemand avec des dictateurs, comme en Erythrée et au Soudan. Au vu des accords de libre échange et d’autres mesures draconiennes qui ne font que renforcer l’exploitation des pays africains au profit de l’Europe.
Ces derniers mois, se sont négocié une série de nouveaux plans et d’accords, comme le dénommé „Plan Marshall pour l’Afrique“. Au cours de notre soirée, nous voulons obtenir une vue d’ensemble sur ce qui est censé se passer lors de la conférence G20 sur le partenariat africain et sur ses participants. Nous voulons thématiser les réalités de ce soit disant partenariat parmi les accords et plans actuels. Et nous voulons informer sur les protestations organisées à l’encontre de cette conférence.

Mobilisation and information meeting against the G20-Africa-Partnership-Conference

In preparation for the G20 meeting in Hamburg in July, Germany is organising a G20-Africa-Partnership Conference in the Schöneberger Gasometer in Berlin the 12th and 13th of June.
We’re wondering: what sort of partnership is that supposed to be? In view of the thousands of deaths on Europe’s borders to Africa, in view of the plans to move the borders even further into the inner parts of Africa, to increase deportation and ‚fight the causes of migration‘. In view of the cooperation of the German government with dictators in Eritrea and in Sudan. In view of free trade agreements and other masterplans that only serve to continue the exploitation of African countries for the benefit of Europe.
In the last few months a series of new plans have been introduced and deals agreed, such as the so-called “Marshall-Plan for Africa”. At this meeting we want to provide an overview of what will happen at the Africa-Partnership-Conference and who is going to be there. We want to talk about what the so-called partnership actually looks like, in regard to current agreements and plans. And we want to provide information about the planned protests against the conference.
